We are relatives of one family derived from a family of Cackowskis with a Jan Cackowski and family having emigrated from Poland/Russia shortly prior to 1900 to escape conscription in the Russian army. We have traced our history back to a Kazimierz Cackowski born in 1799 likely in NorthEast Poland. (Photo shows John J. We are inviting all relatives with some blood line connections with their families to join us for a congenial get together in St. Augustine, FL the weekend of July 26, 2024. Many relatives, of course, may not have a Cackowski name. Through our family tree, we have identified many other family names with our blood line. Some of them are Konow, Ostaszewski, Detmer, Mogelnicki, Roxburgh, Sedlmeyer, Lindsey, Courtland and many other sub families. Keep reading below.
